Discussion was reserved for the meeting with the parents of the cast and crew for Cinderella. Additional advertising ideas will be solicited. Mrs. Hobson noted that the students had brain stormed for ideas and had a list that they were pursuing.
The board voted to procure a popcorn machine that would be used for plays, WT Woodson drama events and fund raisers such as the ITS sing along ‘Wizard of Oz’. Carole Fredrickson indicated that it cost $45 to rent per day and supplies cost $25. You may purchase the same size machine for $350-$500. The vote to purchase a machine was unanimous.
Carole Fredrickson reported that Frost has agreed to allow us to sell tickets to Cinderella two times a week during lunch hours. We will add that to our list for pre-sale volunteers.
Volunteer sheets were reviewed and will be passed around during the parents meeting. They will be posted to the website as they were for the previous play and an email will be sent to all parents asking that they volunteer to help where they can.
Board Meeting adjourned at 7:30pm
