The Wedding from Hell is coming …
Will you be
there?
You’ve been to weddings
where something goes wrong? Try everything. Bruce and Tina face it all. The
groom’s snobbish, aristocratic mother, Sylvia, registers her disapproval of the
nuptials by wearing black and attempting to dissuade him from the marriage even
as the Bridal March begins. The soloist is quite unprepared. The judge hired to
perform the ceremony is drunk. The wrong tux was delivered to the bride’s
father, Jackie, who tries to ease the tension by trying out some of the gags
from his novelty store.
Then, a mysterious
stranger shows up dead. And things just go downhill from there! Join us for an
evening of delightful comedy and a truly zany wedding - just be glad it’s not yours!
WTW’s spring drama
production “The Wedding from Hell” is an audience-participation, murder mystery dinner theatre. It will be performed at the
Main Street Marketplace at University and North Street in downtown Fairfax
City. (Just one block down from the new Fairfax Library.)
An empty storefront will be transformed into a wedding
hall by our wonderful set deco crew and a delicious meal will be catered by
local restaurants who are joining us to help make this the event of a lifetime
for soon-to-be newlyweds Bruce and Tina or the Wedding from Hell.
Seating is limited. Each show will have room for 144
“wedding guests” seated at round tables of 8. All seats are reserved. Tickets
must be purchased in advance so we can give hard numbers to our caterers. There
will be no ticket sales at the door.
Here is some important information you will want to
know before purchasing your tickets:
Cost: All
tickets cost $18, which includes lunch or dinner, drinks, and “wedding cake.”
Due to the off-site venue and meal, we regret that we are unable to offer
