Joan Bedinger, who was the Theatre Director at Woodson High School for more than 30 years,
stepped into the loving arms of God after a series of strokes.
In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to send contributions(checks may be payable to W.T. Woodson H.S.) to:

In addition to thousands of students and friends, Joan is also survived by cousins Marian Taylor ( Hilton Head Island, SC), Sid Norvell ( Tulsa, OK), Janet Carmichael ( Edmonds, WA), and Jim Justice ( Lexington, KY).

A celebration of Joan’s life and reception is being prepared for June 15th, 2008, and any of her former students are invited to share their favorite “moments” through song, dance, scene, story or however they wish.

Thanks to all the parent donations for our BNW concession stand - we earned over $1000 to support the WTW drama activities!!
A huge thanks to all of our tireless parent volunteers who sold tickets & concessions, chaperoned, helped with sewing, publicity, Cappies & Cast/Crew refreshments and to those 'younger than they look' souls who assisted the BNW Strike until 3am.
A special thanks to Terry Byrne who created those wonderful programs and tickets for Brave New World. Bravo!!
